Application Developer
Location: 2 to 3 days in either London, Manchester, Leicester, Hursley, Glasgow or Edinburgh
Day Rate: £560 a day via Umbrella company
Duration: 6 months
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer (DevOps) to join a high-profile Government programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex technical environment, supporting application development, integrations, automation, and DevOps best practices across critical systems.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Scripting experience including:
- ANT
- Ansible
- Bash Shell
- Terraform
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with:
- Jenkins
- AWS
- Git
- Docker
- Liquibase
- Ability to work effectively with remote client and delivery teams
- Experience supporting integrations with external applications

- Automate deployment and infrastructure processes.
- Support application integrations across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, deployment, and environment issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and DevOps best practices.
