What We Are Looking For
The incumbent will report directly to the Director of IT Business Solutions and will be responsible for supporting and developing operational, commercial, and financial business intelligence (BI), business process/workflow automation, and predictive analytic solutions utilizing AI/ML technologies. The role, primarily focusing on the KM Natural Gas business unit, will require strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and the capacity to work independently on complex assignments.
What You Will Do
Solution Development & Support
- Gather, interpret, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for new and existing solutions, including bolt‑on applications, system interfaces, reporting, data aggregation and transformations, enterprise data modeling, and business analytics tools.
- Support existing solutions (SSRS, Power BI, Excel, SSIS) and collaborate on future enterprise BI and data analytics solutions in collaboration with the IT AI‑BI Team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and business process issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain current documentation for all supported solutions and processes.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational strategy, IT standards, and security policies.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with a variety of business and IT groups—including Commercial, Contract Administration, Nominations/Scheduling, Gas Control, System Design, Account Services, Business Development, Financial Planning, Risk Management, DBAs, Infrastructure, Network Security, and others—to design and support solutions.
- Provide clear communication and updates to management and stakeholders as needed.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with our business counterparts to Identify opportunities for system optimization, process improvement, and cost reduction.
- Develop and refine procedures to improve system performance and meet evolving business needs.
- Maintain awareness of industry innovations, best practices, and emerging technologies applicable to BI, AI and automation.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Advanced expertise in SQL, Power BI, SSRS, Excel, and Python
- Proven ability to write, analyze, and maintain complex SQL, DAX, and Python scripts, and to learn and develop within new tools, such as Palantir Foundry
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to effectively prioritize work in deadline‑driven, high‑pressure environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of work quality.
- Strong adherence to IT standards, change management procedures, and best practices.
- High regard for personal and organizational safety.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience *This role will be filled at the applicable job level of the successful candidate.

USD $104,000.00 - USD $181,800.00 /Yr.
