Join an exciting project to develop a cutting-edge esports tournament application designed for users to compete in games and win monetary rewards. This part-time, fully remote contract role is ideal for a mid-level application developer with a passion for gaming and a strong background in software development. You will play a key role in planning, building, and delivering a robust, user-friendly platform that supports seamless tournament experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define app requirements and user flows for esports tournaments
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance application architecture
- Develop core features such as user registration, tournament creation, matchmaking, and prize distribution
- Integrate secure payment gateways and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and optimization to deliver a reliable user experience
- Provide technical documentation and support for ongoing maintenance and updates
- Participate in regular remote meetings and provide progress updates

Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in application development, preferably with gaming or esports platforms
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, React Native, Flutter, Node.js)
- Strong understanding of backend and frontend development principles
- Experience integrating payment systems and handling secure transactions
- Familiarity with cloud services and scalable infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting
- Availability for part-time contract work and flexibility to adapt to project needs
