DevOps Engineer - Application Developer - DevOps
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer - Application Developer - DevOps to serve as the technical authority for our enterprise middleware infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the high availability, security, and peak performance of core business applications built on IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, and Red Hat JBoss.
Responsibilities
- Work in an integration scrum team with architectural and SME support.
- Ability to work with client teams remotely to aid successful integration with external applications.
- Skills Required:
- Experience with Websphere, MQ, IBM BPM or other rules-based applications.
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as ANT, Ansible, Bash Shell, Terraform.
- Creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, AWS, Git, Docker, and Liquibase.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with developers and IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
