Digital Application Developer | React / TypeScript | Swift / SwiftUI | Kotlin

A leading UK wealth management organisation is growing its Digital Experience Development team and is looking for an experienced Digital Application Developer to build, enhance and support secure, scalable digital applications across web and mobile.
This is an opportunity to work on customer and adviser-facing digital products spanning web, iOS and Android, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable digital applications across web and mobile
- Build modern solutions using technologies including React, TypeScript, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin and Android frameworks
- Develop reusable components, APIs and integration services connecting digital channels with enterprise platforms
- Build mobile capabilities including biometrics, push notifications, secure device storage and deep linking
- Contribute to app store releases and production support
- Implement engineering best practice across automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, observability and performance
- Work closely with Product, UX/UI, Architecture, Data and Engineering teams
- Contribute to Agile delivery, technical design and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve digital experiences and engineering productivity

What we're looking for
We're interested in software engineers with strong commercial experience in one or more of the following areas:
- React / TypeScript
- Swift / SwiftUI / iOS
- Kotlin / Android
- API development and integration
- Application architecture and modern design patterns
- Authentication, authorisation and identity
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Automated testing and secure development
- Performance, monitoring and operational support
- Responsive, accessible and mobile-first application development
You don't necessarily need to be an expert across every technology. We're particularly interested in engineers who can demonstrate strong modern software engineering fundamentals and experience working across digital web and/or mobile platforms.

Desirable experience
- React Native or Flutter
- Azure / cloud-native technologies
- API management
- Financial services, wealth management or another regulated environment
- Mobile authentication and biometrics
- App Store / Google Play release processes
- AI-enabled digital experiences, personalisation or conversational interfaces
