Application Engineer
We're recruiting an Application Engineer for a well-established international manufacturer of Vacuum Pumps and Industrial Vacuum Systems, helping support the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries.
This is a remote position, meaning there is no requirement to go into the office, and you will either be working from home or visiting clients throughout the UK.
Package:
- £50,000 to £60,000 Starting Salary
- £10,000 to £15,000 Company Bonus
- Company Car
- Remote Working

Responsibilities:
- Customer visits to find, develop and present vacuum solutions, either jointly or individually, at site or via Teams.
- Liaising with Systems and Service teams, to brief them on the required solutions to a sufficient level of detail that enables cost estimate and technical specifications to be prepared.
- Work with the Sales team to develop compelling proposals that demonstrate value and return-on-investment for Customers.
- Coach and develop team members to increase their understanding of customer processes, vacuum applications and tools such as VPS.
- Research market trends, competitor offerings and process developments in assigned segments, becoming the expert who is able to summarise market potential, therefore ensuring we are well positioned to have relevant conversations with Customers.

Essential Skills:
- Good knowledge of processes and applications
