Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our development team. You will contribute to the design, development, deployment and maintenance of scalable web and mobile applications across our growing portfolio of technology products.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience, a good understanding of cloud infrastructure and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Use Prisma ORM for database modelling, migrations and queries.
- Design, build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Deploy and manage applications using AWS services such as ECS, S3 and related cloud technologies.
- Containerise applications and services using Docker.
- Support infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate through structured branching and code-review processes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance, reliability and security.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, testing and product planning.
- Work closely with developers, QA, DevOps and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with React.js and React Native.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern full-stack development.
- Practical experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Prisma ORM.
- Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with Docker and containerised applications.
- Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of AWS, including services such as ECS and S3.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API integration and cloud deployment.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver work within agreed timelines.

Essential Working Requirements
- Candidates must have access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

- Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with the wider development team during agreed working hours.
