Job Title
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Application Integration Developer based in United Kingdom.
About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to build and maintain critical integrations that connect internal and external systems within a modern cloud environment.
- You will develop cloud-native services and automated workflows that improve how applications, identities, and data move across the organization.
- Working primarily with Microsoft Azure, you will contribute to integration architecture, deployment automation, and secure system connectivity.
- You will combine hands-on development with troubleshooting and continuous improvement to ensure reliable and scalable integrations.
- The role provides broad exposure to APIs, messaging, infrastructure automation, authentication, and enterprise data systems.
- You will work in a fast-moving, international environment where engineers are trusted to take ownership and solve complex technical challenges.
- Your work will contribute to the infrastructure supporting innovative AI-focused products and services at global scale.
Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve API-based integrations between internal and external systems.
- Build and support cloud-native services using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and messaging services.
- Implement automated workflows for system processes, identity lifecycle management, and data synchronization.
- Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for Microsoft Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across APIs, Azure services, authentication mechanisms, and data sources.
- Ensure integrations are reliable, secure, maintainable, and scalable.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation covering integrations, automation scripts, workflows, and supporting processes.
- Collaborate with relevant technical teams to identify integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing and supporting system integrations in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, and Managed Identities.
- Proficiency in either Python or C# for developing integration services and automation.
- Solid experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Practical experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform for Azure deployments.
- Good understanding of secure authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience designing and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across distributed systems and cloud services.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical challenges, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
- Experience with Power Automate or Microsoft Power Platform is an advantage.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-900, or AZ-104 are a plus.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Application Insights and Log Analytics is desirable.
- Must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom and able to provide proof of employment eligibility as required.
