The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is an Executive Agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK.
We have a vacancy for an Application Manager.
You will be part of the Application Management Team within the Regulatory Affairs Section. You will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of various application procedures that are subject to published standards (targets). As the primary contact for providing procedural advice to stakeholders, both internal and external, you will be required to have (or to obtain) an in-depth knowledge of application guidelines, procedures, and processes, including the underlying legislation that underpins it all.

We require someone that:
- Is proactive at troubleshooting issues.
- Pays attention to detail.
- Has sound analytical skills and good judgement to inform their decisions.
- Is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and has the ability to learn in-house packages quickly.
