Application Packager | Salisbury (On-Site) | £36,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
Do you take pride in getting software deployed cleanly, consistently and without drama? This is your chance to own the application packaging function for a high-profile client environment, where your ideas on automation, efficiency and end user experience will genuinely shape how things are done.
You'll join a growing End User Services UK department supporting multiple prestigious clients. This isn't a role where you'll simply follow someone else's process - you'll be trusted to challenge it, improve it and drive change as standard.
Location: Salisbury - this role requires you on-site 5 days a week
Salary: £36,000 plus a strong training & benefits package
Contract: Full time, permanent
Please note: due to the nature of the work, applicants must be sole British passport holders.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing software to the client through an organised, controlled and fully monitored packaging process
- Carrying out quality assurance testing and assisting with UAT fault resolution
- Documenting each application clearly - what it's expected to do and how that was achieved
- Building strong relationships with the client, third parties and vendors
- Identifying automation and efficiency opportunities, plus hands-on problem solving and solutioning

What You'll Bring
- Strong primary skills in application packaging across multiple platforms
- Expertise across a variety of packaging tools
- Strong working knowledge of different packaging formats
- Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
- Desirable: an understanding of SCCM current branch
