Your new company
You'll be joining a highly successful international financial services organisation that provides specialist services to investment funds, private market investors and global institutions. Over the past decade, the business has experienced significant growth and continues to invest heavily in technology, automation and operational excellence as part of its long-term strategy.
This is a position to work on the Private Equity suite of eFront products (FrontInvest, Debt and Consolidation, Investment Cafe), but they are prepared to consider candidates learning this specialist knowledge if you have the right transferable skills.
Your new role
This role sits within a specialist technology team responsible for supporting and enhancing critical investment and fund administration platforms used across the organisation. You'll work closely with both technical and operational teams, supporting platforms that sit at the heart of investment activities.
Working closely with operational stakeholders, you'll act as a subject matter expert for a market-leading investment management platform (eFront), supporting users, investigating issues, gathering requirements and driving system improvements. You'll operate at the intersection of technology and the business, helping to optimise key processes covering areas such as investor onboarding, reporting, operational workflows and fund-related activities.
The position combines elements of application support, software development, systems analysis, platform ownership, project delivery and business applications consultancy. You'll be involved in platform configuration, enhancement projects, process optimisation and integration initiatives whilst ensuring business-critical systems continue to operate effectively and deliver value across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not a traditional software engineering position but you will have some knowledge or background in programming. Instead, it would suit someone who enjoys understanding complex business processes, working directly with stakeholders and acting as the technology expert for a specialist enterprise platform, acting in an Application Support Analyst capacity.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will come from a background such as Application Support Analyst, Technical Analyst, Systems Support Analyst, Application Developer, Business Systems Analyst or Application Specialist.
You'll have experience supporting internally focused business applications rather than solely customer-facing software, alongside a track record of investigating technical issues, analysing data, managing support tickets and delivering system improvements. Experience working within a structured service management environment such as Ivanti or similar ticketing platforms would be highly beneficial.
You should have a solid technical foundation, including exposure to SQL, reporting tools, data analysis or application configuration. Development experience in Visual Basic/Vb.Net, JavaScript is advantageous but the focus is on understanding systems, troubleshooting issues and working with stakeholders rather than writing software full-time.

Experience within financial services environments such as fund management, fund administration, private equity, asset management, investment operations or finance systems would be particularly attractive. Candidates who have worked with accounting or fund administration platforms, financial reporting systems or investment management applications are likely to be a strong fit.
You'll also be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, gathering requirements, coordinating enhancements and contributing to project delivery. Professional qualifications or studies such as ACCA, CIMA, AAT or related finance disciplines would be viewed favourably.
Experience with specialist private markets platforms would be advantageous, but training can be provided for the right individual with transferable business systems and financial services experience.
What you'll get in return
In return, you'll receive a highly competitive benefits package including 2 bonus schemes (managerial and annual discretionary), enhanced pension scheme, private medical insurance, critical illness cover and long-term income protection. You'll benefit from a generous holiday allowance, family travel insurance and flexible hybrid working, including opportunities to work abroad for part of the year.
