We are now looking for a technical sales and solution orientated Application Specialist to join the Sales team in the UK. In this position you will get the chance to truly influence our future ways of working.
The position is to cover the South Region - Reading (RG), Southampton (SO), Salisbury (SP)
Job summary - Your mission – To provide the ultimate customer experience.
In this position, you’ll be expected to deliver technical expertise in engineering cutting tools and metal working applications to our customers. You will collaborate and support Account Managers presenting our offer, either on site or remotely with technical demonstrations and presentations. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that Sandvik Coromant products are applied correctly to ensure customers gain the maximum benefit of utilizing Sandvik Coromant tools and technology. As support to Account Managers, you’ll assist them with value generating and cost saving activities to ensure suitable business opportunities are identified and secured.

Your profile: Innovative with a passion for delivering technical solutions.
We are looking for someone with a solid and proven technical experience with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge. You have a proven track record in delivering good business results and an understanding of CAD/CAM and relevant application knowledge. Project management skills and previous experience is an advantage, along with managing customer relationships. You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or a related field.
