Application Support Analyst
Dorset/Hybrid
£31,000-£33,000 + Benefits
A leading retailer is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its Application Services team, supporting a range of business-critical retail, trading and corporate applications.
You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving application issues, supporting major incidents, monitoring integrations and systems, and working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure services remain available, resilient and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve application incidents and service requests.
- Support major incidents and coordinate service restoration.
- Monitor applications, integrations, APIs, reporting feeds and batch processes.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Support new systems and projects transitioning into BAU.
- Drive service improvements, automation and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex environment.
- Retail systems experience, ideally POS and merchandising platforms.
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Experience with APIs, integrations and data flows.
- SQL skills and exposure to scripting (PowerShell, SQL or similar).
- Experience with cloud-hosted/SaaS applications and third-party suppliers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
