Job Title: Applications Operations Engineer
Location: Exeter, Devon
Work Mode: Hybrid – 1 Day Onsite
Job Overview
Supports, manages, and maintains a single application or a suite of applications. Maintains services, conducts user and security administration, monitors applications, and is accountable for batch processes. May also fix technical problems, maintain hardware, and liaise with the Problem or Incident Manager.
This role supports a new platform launched in 2025 that will eventually replace legacy solutions. As an Applications Operations Engineer, you will support the platform as it develops, with a focus on configuring and managing data products required by operational users.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure products on the platform.
- Use Handlebars.js/Moustache.js (product template logic) and Typst (product output layouts).
- Support product onboarding by collaborating with Product Managers and Service Delivery Managers.
- Reconfigure products after onboarding.
- Work as part of the support team.
- Manage Changes, Incidents, and Problems using ServiceNow.
- Assist with testing, verification, and feedback on system functionality.
