This is much more than a traditional support role.
You'll be at the heart of our business, working across Engineering, Product and Operations to solve complex problems, improve platform reliability and ensure our customers receive a seamless experience. You'll develop deep knowledge of our platform, gain exposure to modern cloud technologies, and become a key expert in how data, systems and integrations work together.

- Investigate and resolve live platform incidents, applying safe mitigations to restore service quickly.
- Support business-critical processes including trading, cash movements, transfers, pensions, reporting and daily operational workflows.
- Coordinate incident response and ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout.
- Become an expert in integrations and data flows
- Troubleshoot issues across external providers, APIs, partner integrations and scheduled processes.
- Analyse logs, SQL queries, API responses and system behaviour to identify root causes.
- Build deep knowledge of platform data flows and operational hand-offs.
- Reduce unnecessary escalations by owning investigations and driving issues to resolution.
- Collaborate to deliver continuous improvement
- Partner closely with Engineering to reproduce issues, validate fixes and improve platform resilience.
- Support production releases and monitor platform performance following deployments.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, runbooks and support processes.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, troubleshooting guides and operational procedures.
- Contribute ideas that improve system reliability, scalability and operational excellence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
