We're looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our IT team — a hands-on, dual-focus role split between keeping our own Microsoft 365 and Azure environment running smoothly, and acting as a technical point of contact for our clients' Microsoft 365 tenancies. You'll play a key role in onboarding new clients technically, and be a go-to escalation point for our Support and Onboarding teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and maintaining our internal Microsoft 365 and Azure environment (Entra ID, SharePoint, Exchange Online).
- Acting as a technical point of contact for clients on Microsoft 365 tenancy issues.
- Completing technical set-up for new client onboarding, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Acting as a technical escalation point for 1st Line Support and Onboarding.
- Automating routine tasks and maintenance using PowerShell.
- Building and maintaining clear internal documentation and a troubleshooting knowledge base.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 — this is the core of the role.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Identity & Access Management.
- Advanced SharePoint site configuration and security permissions experience.
- Confidence writing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
- Working knowledge of core Azure infrastructure services.
- Nice to have: Exchange Online, Purview, Teams admin, Co-Pilot, ITIL exposure, or Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS-900, SC-300).
