We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the work involved, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. Our teams operate within a flexible hybrid working model, however on-site requirements can vary, so the ability to travel as required to meet client needs is essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day support and operation of business-critical applications, helping ensure services remain stable, available and performant. You will investigate and resolve incidents and production issues, manage problems, changes and service requests in line with ITIL-aligned processes, and use your Java, Linux and database knowledge to diagnose issues across the application environment.
You will also help shape a more proactive and efficient support service. Working collaboratively with development, infrastructure, client, customer and supplier teams, you will identify recurring issues, strengthen monitoring and introduce automation that removes manual effort and improves resilience. You’ll be encouraged to challenge existing approaches, develop practical improvements and share your expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
