We currently have vacancies for an Applications Support Engineer
This role is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes but with the option to be primarily remote.
The role:
As our Applications Support Engineer, you will work closely with key business stakeholders, the rest of the technology team and third parties to support our current NetSuite modules and play a key role in providing our technology roadmap future development of the NetSuite platform. Over time, you will take full ownership of developing and driving improvements and helping us stay ahead of the curve with NetSuite and our other line of business applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and support NetSuite and other directly connected Line of Business applications within our applications estate.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line engineering support for NetSuite, Reflow, HubSpot and Payroll systems
- Function as a technical point of liaison with key stakeholders and users of NetSuite including and not limited to the Finance and HR teams.
- Support existing integration workflows and data connections between NetSuite and other line of business applications and services and other systems leveraging REST APIs and other ad-hoc and/or manual integrations.
- Integrate with third-party APIs such as Reflow and HubSpot to boost efficiencies across the group.
- Lead on NetSuite system upgrades, releases, and regression testing
- Diagnose issues related to workflows, scripts, forms, roles, and permissions.
- Reproduce issues in the sandbox environment and identify root causes.
- Configure NetSuite features such as saved searches, workflows, forms, fields, and roles.
- Serve as our Subject Matter Expert for NetSuite Finance, HR, and Procurement modules.
- Provide user guidance and training on NetSuite best practices.
- Validate data accuracy across NetSuite and connected systems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance our business processes.
- Ensure we have the right documentation in place and where necessary create the appropriate support documentation for NetSuite and other line of business applications.
- Manage support tickets through SLAs and priority levels.
- Implement NetSuite governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Propose technical solutions based on client needs and ensure the scalability and maintainability of the system.
- Contribute to the development of application architecture design in partnership with Group Head of IT, stakeholders and third parties defining customizations where required.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Someone who thrives on solving problems, communicates clearly, and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Able to demonstrate a precise and thorough approach to data quality and changes made to critical applications.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities across key business processes.
- A thirst for knowledge and a desire to keep learning and growing in your role.
- Confidence in taking project tasks from inception to full delivery independently.
- Ability to spot opportunities for efficiency, translate technical concepts for non-technical staff, and drive cost savings.
- Knowledge and understanding of key business processes related to NetSuite specifically standard Finance processes and how they relate to NetSuite.
- Capable of working cross-functionally and facilitating and collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups.
- You will care about delivering high-quality solutions that are robust, secure, scalable, and maintainable.
