Senior/Lead Application Support Engineer, Platform & Integrations

London / hybrid 3 days | 💰 Up to £100k + options + bonus

A fast-growing wealth and pensions platform is looking for an Application Support Engineer who likes being close to the action. The platform handles trading, cash movements, transfers and pensions, and it has to work every day, on time and correctly. You'll be the person who keeps it running and who gets to the bottom of things when it doesn't.

This is a support-first role with a strong integrations focus. You'll join a small, collaborative team, sit alongside Engineering, Product and Ops, and build real ownership across partner connections, APIs and scheduled processes.

What you'll do

  • Monitor production systems and mission-critical start-of-day and end-of-day jobs, catching failures and slow runtimes early
  • Diagnose and resolve live issues using SQL, logs, monitoring tools and API responses, applying safe mitigations to restore service
  • Triage incidents by urgency and business impact, and escalate clearly and promptly
  • Troubleshoot across external providers, partner data flows, APIs and operational hand-offs
  • Own issues through to closure, chasing Engineering, Product, Ops or partners until they're fixed
  • Support production releases with readiness checks, QA and post-deployment monitoring
  • Maintain runbooks and incident documentation, and improve monitoring and alerting to cut incident volume
  • Support audit, control and evidence requests in a regulated environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
