Application Support Analyst

Central London – Hybrid (3 Days WFH)
Up to £54,000 DOE + On-Call Allowance + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a forward-thinking organisation within the healthcare sector.

This Application Support Analyst role will play a key part in supporting critical business applications, resolving incidents, improving service performance and supporting application change and release activities.

If you're an Application Support Analyst who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, working with stakeholders and driving service improvements, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career.

As an Application Support Analyst, you will:

  • Resolve application incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and undertake root cause analysis.
  • Monitor application performance and availability.
  • Work with internal technical teams and third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Support upgrades, patches, configuration changes and release activities.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Support project delivery, testing, service transition and go-live activities.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Essential Experience & What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and support partners.
  • Good understanding of ITIL, incident, problem and change management.
  • Experience with application configuration, administration and system maintenance.
  • Knowledge of SQL and application support tooling.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop subject matter expertise across business-critical applications.
  • Experience supporting project delivery, testing and service transition activities.
