We are a tight-knit, friendly team of seven focused on delivering exceptional software and service while maintaining close, trusted relationships with our clients.

Who This Role Suits

This position is ideally suited to an experienced London Market practitioner (such as an IBA Accounts Technician, Claims Technician, Policy Technician, or Broking Assistant) seeking a change in lifestyle. If you have good experience of wholesale insurance and reinsurance workflows and are looking for greater work-life flexibility, 100% remote working, and a long-term role in a friendly team, this is an excellent opportunity. We can easily teach you our software and basic support tools—your London Market domain knowledge is what matters most.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role Overview & Progression

Because our software serves a niche, complex sector, we view this as a long-term contract engagement. We offer a clear career progression path: as senior stakeholders step back over the coming years, the right candidate can quickly take on leadership responsibilities, including potentially succeeding our retiring Training Manager by year-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support & Problem Solving: Work alongside the Support Manager to assist broker clients via our online helpdesk (Freshdesk), averaging 40–50 tickets daily across the team. Your background in London Market processing will allow you to understand user queries instantly in plain insurance terms.
  • Quality Assurance & System Testing: Assist the Testing Manager during quarterly software updates by testing new features and running regression tests. You will validate that workflows, risk data, and financial inputs match real-world London Market operational needs.
  • Client Training & Content Creation: Deliver remote training sessions to new and existing Lloyd's brokers and coverholders. Help build a modern suite of short video training modules. Once confident, step up to take ownership of the training function.
