Are you a CMM Programmer or Metrology Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with one of the UK's leading distributors of precision measurement equipment, where you'll receive specialist manufacturer training?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established metrology specialist with over 30 years of success. Partnering with industry-leading manufacturers such as Renishaw, Hexagon, and Kreon, the business supplies cutting-edge CMMs and metrology products to customers across Formula One, aerospace, automotive, and precision engineering.

In this role, you'll provide technical application support, programme CMMs, deliver customer training, and support customers both remotely and on-site. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel across the UK for customer visits.

The ideal candidate will have experience programming or operating CMMs, working within quality or metrology, or using precision measurement equipment, and be looking to develop into a customer-facing technical specialist.

The Role:

  • Programming CMMs using PC-DMIS and supporting customer applications
  • Delivering technical training, demonstrations, and software support
  • Measuring components using CMMs, portable arms, and laser scanners
  • Producing inspection reports and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Supporting customers remotely and through occasional UK site visits
  • Office-based with fully expensed travel and overnight stays when required

The Person:

  • Background in CMM programming, metrology, or quality engineering
  • Experience with CMMs or precision measurement equipment
  • Full UK driving licence
