APPLICATIONS & PROJECTS ENGINEER
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Location: Horsforth / Leeds / West Yorkshire

You’ll play a key role in our company getting involved with PLC programming, building PCs, configuring instruments, producing electrical drawings, building panels and of course designing and configuring SCADA systems. THE ROLE
- Creating outline specifications, selecting the right equipment and methodology to use, as well as responsibility for costs and times
- Involved with designing, building, programming and commissioning systems
- Visiting client sites to implement the systems as well as training the clients
- Supporting clients with ongoing maintenance and system upgrades
THE IDEAL PERSON
- Equally at home with screwdrivers, drills, hard drives and software packages
- You will probably have at least a HNC in a related degree, e.g. physics, chemical / mechanical / electrical / electronic / control /software engineering.
- A keen problem solver with a logical approach.
- Interest in automation, control, measurement and sensing.
- Experience of a commercial drawing package such as AutoCad.
- Real attention to detail and thirst for knowledge.
- Initiative to work alone, coming up with and implementing new ideas.
- Excellent time management.

Knowledge or experience of some of the following;
- SCADA packages
- PLC programming
- Modbus over RS485 and TCP/IP
- Access/SQL databases
- Electrical control circuits
Experience would be an advantage for this role but newly / lower qualified applicants will be seriously considered if they can demonstrate the attitude and aptitude required.
