Applications Specialist – Histopathology UK Field-Based | National Territory | Histology
An opportunity for an experienced Histology Applications Specialist or Biomedical Scientist to join a specialist pathology business supporting histology solutions across the UK.
You will work directly with NHS and private laboratories, providing product demonstrations, training, implementation, and ongoing applications support.
The Role
- Deliver product demonstrations and customer training
- Support equipment installations and new product introductions
- Provide applications and workflow support to Histopathology laboratories
- Support customer evaluations and troubleshoot application issues
- Work closely with Biomedical Scientists and Histology Managers
- Partner with Sales and Service teams across the UK

Your Background
We are looking for:
- Experience within Histology, Histopathology, or Cellular Pathology
- Strong practical understanding of histology laboratory workflows
- Hands-on experience with histology instrumentation
- Confidence delivering training and technical demonstrations
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Willingness to travel nationally

Experience with tissue processing, microtomy, cryostats, staining, coverslipping, IHC, embedding, or specimen identification would be particularly relevant. Existing Applications Specialists and experienced Biomedical Scientists looking to move into industry are encouraged to apply.
