Applications Support Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business Systems Role
Are you an Applications Support Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business Systems professional looking for a role where you can support, improve and shape key business applications? This ICT Business Analyst role sits within an Applications Team, but it is much more suited to someone with hands-on applications support experience than a traditional Business Analyst background.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting business systems, supporting users, configuring applications, working with suppliers and helping improve how technology supports the organisation. You will be working across key enterprise applications including Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, analytics, data warehousing, HR and finance systems.
Why this role may be right for you
This role is ideal if you have experience providing 2nd or 3rd line support for business applications and want to move into a broader position involving systems improvement, digital change and stakeholder engagement. You do not need to have worked with the organisation's exact systems before. What matters is that you understand how applications work, how systems connect, and how to support users when business-critical platforms need to be fixed, configured or improved.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
