Applied AI Director

We're looking for an Applied AI Director to join our team in the UK or Europe in a hybrid working mode. This position offers a hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland and occasional office visits required.

At EPAM, we help organizations turn advances in generative AI into measurable business outcomes. We combine deep engineering expertise with industry knowledge to help clients identify, design and scale AI-enabled solutions that deliver real value.

In this role, you will advise senior business leaders on AI transformation, shape strategic initiatives and help clients move from experimentation to production-ready solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across consulting, engineering, design and data to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders on agentic transformation within your industry domain
  • Define and drive AI strategies for clients, applying practical knowledge of generative AI and agentic systems to validate assumptions, challenge flawed thinking and guide business decisions
  • Conduct discovery and ideation activities that transform complex business challenges into prioritized AI opportunities with a clear path to value
  • Drive enterprise AI adoption by identifying high-impact use cases, quantifying business value and leading the organizational change needed for sustainable outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data, design and business functions from concept through production and adoption
  • Grow EPAM's Applied AI practice by contributing to talent development, commercial performance and market positioning
  • Originate and convert enterprise opportunities by shaping engagements, building business cases and leading presales activities with account and sales teams
  • Track industry, market and competitive developments to help shape client strategy and EPAM go-to-market initiatives
  • Mentor consultants, specialists and client stakeholders while helping build AI capabilities across the practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
