About the Role
As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you’ll design, build and deploy multimodal AI solutions for customer-facing products and internal operations. You’ll work closely with product, engineering and clients to take ideas from experiment to reliable, scalable production systems.

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong computer science and software engineering foundations, including Python and SQL; TypeScript or JavaScript is a bonus.
- Has shipped AI products or systems end to end.
- Understands LLM application design, tool use, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation and agent orchestration.
- Uses rigorous evaluation and observability to make AI systems dependable.
- Translates real business problems into thoughtful technical choices.
- Collaborates effectively across hybrid, cross-functional teams—and challenges clients constructively.
- Is self-sufficient, curious and comfortable learning new stacks.
- Cares deeply about privacy, bias, safety and the wider impact of AI.

Location: London-based, hybrid: one day per week in the office.
Salary: £70,000–£90,000, plus generous holiday, pension and life insurance.
