Applied AI Manager / Senior Manager
London – flexible office attendance
£60,000-£100,000 base salary + bonus
FIND have partnered with a fast-growing, PE-backed consultancy working with private equity funds and their portfolio companies across the globe. They're looking for someone who can build AI solutions hands-on and then walk a fund's leadership team through what they've built.
Our client's applied AI team
PE-backed itself, so you'll see how companies are bought, sold and grown from the inside, as well as through client work
- Small, flat AI team led by a director who still builds and runs training himself
- Agile ways of working, without the heavy process, documentation and JIRA layers of the big consultancies
- Global client base
The role
The work splits across two sides:
Fund side: in-person AI training for groups of 20 to 30 people within PE funds, on platforms like Anthropic and workflow automation. You then support them as use cases come through, which often grows into building infrastructure or chaining use cases together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Portfolio side: taking a business process that needs fixing and building the AI solution for it. It has to scale and keep running long after you've left.
Projects run 4 to 6 weeks. After discovery it's usually just you and the director, so you own both the build and the client presentation. There's no bench time and no grunt work.
What we're looking for
- Senior Consultant/Manager level in a consultancy
- First-hand experience building enterprise AI solutions, and an understanding of infrastructure, security and reliability at scale
- Azure from a code and infrastructure angle, ideally with AWS or GCP too. Anthropic stack experience is a bonus
- Comfortable in front of an ExCo or PE partners, explaining technical work in plain business terms
- Happy to build yourself rather than just manage a team
- PE experience helps, but strong technical credibility counts just as much
