Forest Bridge School is an all-age Special Free School (4-18) for children with autism which opened in September 2015 in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
The aim for Forest Bridge School is to be an outstanding provision for children and young people with autism, which has a rooting in ABA and with each individual pupil’s potential at the heart. We aspire to provide a suitable environment, with a high level of therapeutic support and excellent teaching, to allow pupils with autism to achieve their full potential.
We want all of the ‘teachers’ in a pupil’s life to work in close partnership, delivering outstanding teaching to enable each child to achieve their best possible outcomes. At Forest Bridge School this partnership will include: parents, teachers, behaviour therapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and tutors.
Role Description
The Applied Behaviour Analysis Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Forest Bridge School in the United Kingdom. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and monitoring of ABA programs for pupils, ensuring interventions are evidence-based and tailored to individual needs. The ABA Supervisor will conduct functional assessments, develop behaviour support plans, and analyse data to guide instructional and behavioural strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and coaching ABA tutors and teaching staff, delivering training, and supporting consistency in behaviour interventions across classrooms. The role also includes collaborating closely with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary colleagues, contributing to curriculum planning, and participating in meetings and reviews to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

- Demonstrated expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis, including conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing individualised behaviour support plans.
- Experience supervising ABA practitioners or teaching staff, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform decision-making and adjust interventions based on pupil progress.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals to support holistic educational and therapeutic outcomes.
- Proven experience working with autistic children and young people in school or similar environments, with a commitment to person-centred and trauma-informed approaches.
- Relevant professional certification or postgraduate training in ABA (e.g., UKBA (cert) BCBA or equivalent), or working towards such accreditation.
- Appropriate teaching, psychology, education, or related degree, or comparable professional qualification.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple pupil programs and priorities.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion, and adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements in the UK.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, reflective practice, and continuous professional development.
