Are you an Appointed Person from the lifting or crane industry and knowledge of CAD looking to join one of the leading machinery relocation companies in the UK offering great training in the heavy lifting industry?
On offer is the exciting opportunity to join a friendly, family-run company that has been established for over 55 years and is looking to grow and expand its team. This company operates in machine removal and heavy machine lifting and works with an array of blue-chip companies such as Rolls Royce and BAE Systems, as well as working within several industries such as manufacturing, construction, and automotive, meaning that there is never a boring day!
In this varied role, you will be working in the office Monday to Friday from 8.00-17.00, you will mainly be creating lift plants using AutoCAD to detail the layout and calculate load calculations, you will also be producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments that will be distributed to a range of companies throughout the UK. You will be working as part of a team and managing a variety of different projects.

This role is ideal for a CAD Technician or similar from a construction, site engineer, automotive, or crane background within a well-established company that offers a variety of training in a Mon-Fri office-based role.
The Role:
- Creating Lift Plants, Method Statements and RAMS
- CAD drawings using AutoCAD 2D
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
The Person:
- Background in CAD (AutoCAD)
- Background in a construction, heavy machinery, automotive, or site-based role
- Interest in working in the machinery lifting industry
- Commutable to Oldham, North Manchester
