OneDome is transforming the home-moving journey by bringing together estate agency, mortgages, conveyancing, and other property services into one seamless platform. As we continue to grow our mortgage network, we're looking for an experienced recruiter and business development professional to identify, attract, and onboard high-quality mortgage firms to our Appointed Representative (AR) network.
Role Purpose
The AR Headhunter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and recruiting high-quality mortgage broker firms into the OneDome Appointed Representative network. The role focuses on building long-term relationships with prospective firms, promoting the benefits of joining OneDome, and supporting sustainable network growth.
Working closely with Compliance, Operations, and Business Development teams, you will manage the recruitment pipeline from initial prospecting through to onboarding while ensuring prospective firms meet our quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and recruit high-quality mortgage broker firms to join the OneDome Appointed Representative Network.
- Promote the benefits, products, and services offered by OneDome and its mortgage network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective Appointed Representatives and directly authorised mortgage broker firms.
- Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of recruitment opportunities to achieve agreed growth targets.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand firms' business objectives and demonstrate how OneDome can support their growth.
- Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to appointment and onboarding.
- Work closely with Compliance to ensure all prospective AR firms meet regulatory and due diligence requirements.
- Collaborate with Marketing to support lead generation campaigns and networking initiatives.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent OneDome and generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, recruitment forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new recruitment opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with key industry influencers and introducers.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience recruiting mortgage broker firms or financial services businesses.
- Strong business development and relationship management experience.
- Good understanding of the UK mortgage intermediary market.
- Knowledge of Appointed Representative and Directly Authorised models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
- CRM experience.

Desirable
- Previous experience within a mortgage network or mortgage club.
- CeMAP qualification (or working knowledge of mortgage advice).
- Existing network of mortgage broker contacts.
- Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements relating to mortgage intermediaries.

Within the first 12 months, you will have established a strong recruitment pipeline, consistently onboarded high-quality Appointed Representative firms, built trusted relationships across the mortgage intermediary market, and made a measurable contribution to the growth of OneDome's mortgage network.
