Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Appointment Setter | Downsell Closer at SEO 7x. The role involves engaging inbound and outbound leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling discovery and strategy calls for the sales team. The individual will follow up with leads via email, phone, and messaging platforms, maintain a clean and up-to-date CRM, and manage appointment calendars to reduce no-shows and increase show rates. A key responsibility is handling downsell opportunities, presenting alternative offers to prospects who are not ready for the core engagement, and closing these lower-tier packages while maintaining strong relationships. The role also includes documenting conversations, providing feedback on lead quality, and collaborating closely with sales and marketing to refine scripts, outreach sequences, and overall funnel performance.

Qualifications

- Strong appointment-setting skills, including lead qualification, outbound calling, and calendar management.
- Sales and closing capabilities, with experience handling objections, presenting offers, and converting downsell opportunities.
- Clear and professional communication skills across phone, email, and messaging platforms, with active listening and rapport-building abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines, including accurate data entry, follow-up tracking, and basic reporting.
- Understanding of digital marketing or eCommerce environments; SEO or performance marketing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet activity and conversion targets.
- Previous experience in appointment setting, inside sales, or SDR/BDR roles preferred.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to a non-discriminatory, inclusive work culture.
