About Ownly Digital
Ownly builds websites, apps and software that fix problems costing businesses time and money.
This might mean replacing spreadsheets, improving how enquiries are handled, automating quotes and follow-ups, building an app for customers or creating a complete internal business system.
The role
We are looking for self-employed appointment setters to speak with business owners and book qualified calls for the Ownly sales team.
You will be given targeted lead lists, industry-specific scripts and training on what Ownly does.
Your role will include:
- Making outbound calls to business owners
- Sending relevant emails and LinkedIn messages
- Starting genuine conversations rather than reading a script word for word
- Finding out whether there is a real problem Ownly could solve
- Confirming that you are speaking with the decision maker
- Booking qualified calls with the Ownly sales team
- Recording notes and outcomes in our Lead Engine
- Following up with interested prospects
- Confirming appointments and keeping the pipeline up to date
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
A qualified call means we are speaking with a decision maker who has a genuine business problem, the ability to invest and an interest in fixing it within the next few months.
You are not expected to design a software solution, provide a quotation or close a complicated project during the first conversation.

Pay and working arrangement
This is a remote, self-employed and commission-only opportunity.
Appointment setters earn 10% of the project revenue Ownly collects from an outbound appointment they booked.
If the customer pays in stages, commission is paid in stages as each payment reaches Ownly.
Commission applies to the project fee. It does not apply to ongoing hosting, maintenance or support payments.
People who manage the full sales process, from first contact through to closing, earn 15% of collected project revenue.
You manage your own working hours, but the role has clear fortnightly activity standards. Part-time standards are adjusted to match the agreed level of activity.
You will need a reliable computer, internet connection and a suitable place to make calls. Ownly provides access to the sales and calling systems.
