Apprentice vacancy

Location: Day Lewis Pharmacy, Sunninghill, Ascot

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm with 60 minutes unpaid break - you will get one day of study time, occasional Saturdays may be required 9am-5pm with 30 minutes unpaid break, usually 1 in 5 Saturdays.

About the Role

Day Lewis are looking for an Apprentice to join our team.

This is an exciting pharmacy Apprenticeship that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in retail
  • Learn about over-the-counter medicines
  • Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
  • Order pharmaceutical stock
  • Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
  • Assist with minor ailments
