CoverMe is a digital platform that connects freelance fitness instructors with studios to ensure engaging group exercise classes run consistently. Through a streamlined three-step process in a powerful mobile app, venues can quickly find qualified instructors and instructors can easily access new teaching opportunities. The company focuses on simplicity, speed, and reliability, offering a “pocketful of fitness” experience for its community. CoverMe supports studios with demos and onboarding while providing instructors with a free app to start booking classes right away.

Role Description

The Apprentice Account Manager is a full-time remote role focused on supporting and growing relationships with fitness venues and instructors using the CoverMe platform. In this role, the individual will assist senior account managers with onboarding new venues, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring a smooth experience for users across the app. Daily tasks include:

The Apprentice Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to relay client feedback, help refine processes, and contribute to basic reporting on account performance. This role is designed for someone eager to learn account management best practices in a fast-paced, tech-enabled fitness environment.

Qualifications

  • Client service and relationship skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, follow up on tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic tech and app literacy, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly and guide users through simple product features.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs, identify issues, and suggest practical solutions.
  • Interest in fitness, wellness, or the studio/instructor ecosystem, with a willingness to learn about the industry.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with distributed team members.
  • Relevant education or experience in account management, customer support, or sales support is beneficial but not required.
  • Comfort working in a startup or fast-moving environment and openness to feedback, training, and skill development.
