Launch Your Career in a Specialist Technical Profession

Looking for a career that combines technical expertise, hands-on fieldwork and professional development? This is an opportunity to join an experienced Asbestos Consultancy Team and build a rewarding career in a highly regulated, safety-critical sector. Through structured training, industry-recognised qualifications and practical project experience, you'll develop the skills needed to help organisations manage risk, protect people and maintain safe environments across a diverse range of buildings and infrastructure projects.

Purpose & Scope of the Role

As an Apprentice Asbestos Surveyor & Analyst, you will support the delivery of asbestos surveying, air monitoring, sampling and analytical services across a varied portfolio of client sites. Working alongside experienced surveyors, analysts and technical specialists, you will gain practical experience while completing a Level 3 Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Apprenticeship.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector environments. You'll contribute to projects ranging from asbestos management surveys in occupied buildings to refurbishment and demolition surveys supporting major construction and redevelopment projects.

As part of your development, you will assist with site inspections, air monitoring activities, sample collection, data management and technical reporting, while developing a strong understanding of industry legislation, accredited quality systems and best practice standards. Regular interaction with clients, contractors, colleagues and building occupiers will form an important part of the role, ensuring projects are delivered safely, professionally and to the highest technical standards.

Your Impact in this Position

This apprenticeship provides a structured pathway into a specialist technical profession with clear long-term career prospects. Through a blend of workplace mentoring, formal training, online learning and practical experience, you will work towards recognised industry qualifications, including the RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Air Monitoring and Clearance Procedures.

From day one, you'll develop a solid understanding of asbestos legislation, health and safety requirements, surveying methodologies, air monitoring techniques and quality assurance processes. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility across surveying and analytical activities, supporting the successful delivery of client projects and contributing to the management of asbestos-related risks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
