About The Role

You will be based at our Landor Street Depot, Landor Street, Birmingham, B8 1AE

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 05:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

You will be earning £26,736, up to 3% bonus and SUEZ benefits.

You will be studying towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.


What will I be doing?

As an Apprentice Business Administrator based in Birmingham, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and helping us deliver high‑quality, sustainable services. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity, suitable for people starting their careers, recent graduates, returners to the workforce, and anyone looking to develop in a customer-focused role.

You Will

  • Act as the first point of contact for new and existing customers, handling incoming calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide helpful, timely solutions, aiming for first‑time resolution and work collaboratively with colleagues to gather any information needed to support customers.
  • Accurately log inbound and outbound calls in our call-handling system to support audit and compliance processes.
  • Ensure customer contracts and services are correctly set up in our internal billing systems, supporting smooth and accurate service delivery.
  • Support customer administration, including managing our group email inbox, processing documents, completing work orders through Salesforce, and preparing reports, waste transfer notes, and other compliance documents.
  • Leading on regional administrative functions, providing high-quality, accurate data and reporting to key stakeholders.

What are the requirements?

  • GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Strong communication and active‑listening skills, with the ability to engage professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Experience in problem‑solving and supporting internal or external customers is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team, using your initiative to manage tasks effectively.
