Summary
Must be organised and have good communication skills, written and verbal, and be computer literate. A good work ethic and positive attitude are essential. You will be the face of the company and the go-to person for a range of admin duties throughout the sales and lettings process, liaising with colleagues to arrange viewings etc.
Wage: £16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Business administrator (level 3)
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm (40-hour week). May be required to work some Saturdays (This is paid extra). 40 hours a week

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
This is a great opportunity to work within real estate. We are seeking a mature, self-assured, driven, and passionate person who is organised, accustomed to meeting deadlines, and excellent with people. Are you a positive person seeking to launch your career in a dynamic sector? You must have a good outlook, want to learn, and a desire to grow, we will be pleased to teach you the technical skills.
We work with local authorities with social housing. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with regards to the letting process
- Giving advice and guidance
- Answering customer queries providing a good level of customer service
- Assisting customer when maintenance needs to be carried out and instructing contractors
- Payment to contractors
- Assisting with assessing tenant applications
- Assisting undertaking credit references and general reference checks
- Leases ASTs and renewals
- Onboarding on council system and emailing councils.
- Pre-tenancy and post tenancy
- Billing
- Assist the client and senior staff when negotiations between tenant and landlord are being carried out
- Renewing all expired certs: Gas, EPC, Electric, & FRA.
- Licence new and renewals
- Office renewals
- General admin duties
- Customer service duties ensuring clients are happy and that the process is running smoothly between all parties

What you'll learn
Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management.
Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work.
Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures.
Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
Exercises proactivity and good judgement.
Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way.
Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.
Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.

Training schedule
Full training will be given, leading to a recognised Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 qualification
Full-on-the-job training will be delivered
Off-the-job training will be supported by our training provider - Davidson Training UK Ltd
You will complete the Functional Skills in maths and English up to and including Level 2 (if you don't already hold the equivalent)
All training will be delivered in the workplace during working hours; no college day release is required

Other requirements
You must be self-motivated with excellent time-management skills and have excellent communication skills including a professional telephone manner. We are a 6 minute walk from Manor Park Station, please ensure you can commute in a realistic time.
