Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in Business Administration while gaining valuable experience within a busy Buying Department in the Groundworks Construction Industry. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across the business, with a particular focus on Buying.

What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Buying Department.
- Shadow Senior Buyers to gain an understanding of procurement processes, including obtaining quotations, sourcing materials and placing orders based on completed take-offs.
- Assist with general administrative duties including document management, filing, data entry and maintaining project records.
- Develop an understanding of supplier relationships and material procurement within the construction industry.
- Spend time within the Health & Safety Department to gain knowledge of basic construction health and safety legislation, company procedures and site compliance requirements.
- Support the wider business with administrative tasks as required.
Training Outcome
Successful completion of the Business Administration Apprenticeship will provide the opportunity to progress onto a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Apprenticeship, allowing you to develop a specialist career in procurement and supply chain management with recognised professional qualifications.
