Apprentice Commercial Customer Service Adviser
At NFU North Shropshire Agency we are currently recruiting for an office-based Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team to support our personal and commercial commercial customers.
Requirements
- GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4(C) or above)
- Internal licencing learning requirement including exams and assessments
- Ability to learn and develop professional knowledge and skills
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and in person to commercial businesses including retailers, tradespeople, and farmers
- Assist commercial clients with policy renewals, amendments, and claims
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and enhance the customer journey
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of NFU Mutual's products and services
- Achieve desired business outcomes within own area of insurance responsibility
- Identify information from a range of sources to determine an appropriate course of action
- Analyse data to make evidence-based decisions
- Apply organisational quality assurance policies and procedures
- Apply appropriate methods of communication for audience and circumstances
- Record, verify, maintain and share information
- Be compliant with relevant governance, policies and procedures
- Identify work with stakeholders and create and maintain a network of stakeholders
- Balance competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Build and maintain positive relationships
- Work as part of a team to help achieve results
- Identify potential claims fraud and determine correct action
- Manage insurance claims and/or payments within limits of responsibility
- Identify and manage insurance risks within limits of responsibility
- Recommend insurance and premiums decisions within limits of responsibility
- Gather and interpret relevant information to provide a return on insurance decisions
- Match client’s needs with available insurance products and services
- Optimise the potential return on insurance decisions by identifying and positioning the client’s case with the insurer
