About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Apprentice Contracts Monitoring Assistant to support the effective management of leisure and culture contracts across the borough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in contract management, performance monitoring and client-side service delivery. You will play a key role in the day-to-day monitoring of contracts, helping to ensure services are safe, compliant, high quality and responsive to the needs of residents. Working across a diverse portfolio that includes leisure centres, parks, play areas, outdoor gyms, open spaces, museums, libraries, sports development programmes and cultural venues and activities, you will gain valuable experience in a varied and rewarding environment.

As an Apprentice Contracts Monitoring Assistant you will:
- Build strong working relationships with service providers
- Support site inspections and audits
- Maintain accurate performance records
- Assist with the tracking and reporting of contract outcomes
You will help ensure services are delivered in line with agreed standards and identify opportunities for improvement, while developing your knowledge of contract compliance, performance management and partnership working. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn, making this an ideal role for an ambitious individual looking to grow their skills and contribute to the success of the borough’s leisure and cultural services.

You will be supported to achieve a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship which is a nationally recognised qualification accredited by Skills England.
