Summary
Not only does working in customer service mean you are the face of the company, but you will also be making customers lives better! S & B Academy looking to recruit a Customer Service Parts Advisor. As a parts advisor you will work with customers to give advice to improve or fix their car.
- Wage: £16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
- Training Course: Customer service specialist (level 3)
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm - 1 hour lunch. 40 hours a week
- Start Date: Monday 19 October 2026
- Duration: 2 years 6 months

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work:
- Promote good customer relations
- Identify accurately customer requirements
- Locate, issue and document the sale of parts to customers and workshops, inspecting for quality prior to supply
- Maintain and continually improve the quality of service provided to the customer
- Trained to receive, inspect and check documentation of all incoming parts
- Trained to adequately package material, which is to be despatched from the parts department
- To carry out any additional duty relative to the parts department as requested

Training

Training schedule: Training is delivered in the workplace with visits from S & B Automotive Academy's Customer Service Account Manager both face-to-face and over the phone. The Account Manager will also offer support, advice and guidance by monitoring progress through the use of electronic logbook which both employer and the apprentice will have access to 24/7 365 days a year.
