Apprentice Dental Nurse | Hewett’s Dental | Brighouse
Are you looking to start your career in dentistry and want to learn from an experienced, supportive team?
Hewett’s Dental is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our established eight-surgery practice in Brighouse.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gain your dental nursing qualification and develop your skills within a modern, high-quality private practice. You'll be surrounded by an experienced team who are genuinely passionate about supporting the next generation of dental professionals.

The Opportunity
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you'll learn all aspects of dental nursing while working towards your recognised dental nursing qualification.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Work alongside experienced dentists and dental nurses.
- Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental treatments.
- Learn how to prepare surgeries and equipment for patients.
- Develop your knowledge of infection prevention, control and decontamination procedures.
- Learn how to provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Support the team with the smooth running of the practice.
- Learn about dental materials, instruments and equipment.
- Develop your understanding of dental records, patient confidentiality and practice procedures.
- Gain experience across different areas of dentistry, including general and specialist treatments.
- Attend study sessions as part of your apprenticeship.
- Work towards completing your dental nursing qualification with support from your assessor, tutors and the Hewett’s Dental team.

What You'll Receive

- A full-time role - 36.5 hours per week - hours TBC Monday - Friday
- A fully supported Dental Nursing Apprenticeship.

About You
Previous dental experience is not essential. Whether you're leaving school, changing career or simply looking for an opportunity to start your career in dentistry, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll ideally be:

- A strong team player who enjoys working with others.
