You’ll be joining us at our Commercial Quay practice based in the Leith area of Edinburgh, EH6 6LX.
The working pattern for this role is as follows:
- Monday 08:15 - 17:30
- Tuesday 08:15 - 20:30
- Wednesday 08:15 - 17:45
- Thursday 08:15 - 18:00
- Friday 08:15 - 17:30
Total contracted hours will be 40, which accounts for a 1 hour lunch daily.

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you’ll be supporting clinicians to deliver a full range of high-quality dental treatments and help to ensure the smooth running of your surgery and the practice. You will enjoy being part of a team that’s passionate about caring for patients and helping the nation smile.

To enrol on the apprenticeship programme you will need to meet the following criteria;
- Aged 19+ will require English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills
- Candidates under 19 years old will need to have Maths and English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship and have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
- If you have previously been enrolled on a dental nurse course, we may need to request information to complete eligibility checks
