Dental Nurse Apprentice
Dental Nurse Apprentice will assist the dentist including preparing the treatment room, supporting patients, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice including handling the reception and decon room. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and receive training in dental nursing.
What you'll do at work
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
- Provide chairside support to ensure efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures.
- Execute decontamination protocol as infection control policy.
- Support patients by providing reassurance and aftercare instructions.
- Work in the reception.
- Participate in on-the-job training and attend necessary educational courses to obtain a dental nursing qualification.
- Take pictures for social media and assist in posting content to promote the practice.
