About the Role

Join our tight-knit team and learn to plan, coordinate and deliver campaigns that get real results for our clients. You'll work with data, create and coordinate engaging campaigns, build strong client relationships, and grow into a marketer who can run campaigns independently. Ideal if you're analytical, organised and eager to learn.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work:

  • Helping to plan, build and coordinate high-performing marketing campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta, email and SEO
  • Bringing campaigns together by working with our specialist team, for example, briefing our content executive on shoots, our designer on the visuals, and our social and PPC teams on getting everything live for your campaigns.
  • Digging into data and analytics to understand what's working and where we can continuously make things better for our clients.
  • Helping construct clear client reports that turn the numbers into a story and actionable insights.
  • Sitting in on client conversations and, over time, building your own valuable relationships with clients.
  • Getting to understand each client's business, so when they hit a challenge, you can help work out how we can solve it.
  • Researching markets, competitors and latest trends to keep our thinking sharp.
  • Helping keep projects organised and running efficiently.
  • Combining the analytical and the creative, from SEO work and analysing performance data to spotting where we can improve across channels.
  • Being proactive and confident to speak up, putting ideas forward and helping make our agency better and better.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our clients' success is our business. For us that's a commitment, not a tagline.

Pollard Media is a full-service marketing agency based in Norwich, Norfolk, and is a Google and Meta Partner. We're not a big, faceless agency, and that's exactly why our clients choose us. We work with a select number of businesses so we can stay fully invested in every one.

We deliver bespoke strategy, sharp creative execution, and a team that operates like part of the client's business rather than another supplier. We believe marketing should be clear, honest and effective. No jargon, no smoke and mirrors, no set-it-and-forget-it campaigns. Just thoughtful work that actually moves the needle.

We started as a side hustle in 2019 and grew into a full-service agency by doing things differently. We listened, we showed up, we treated every client's business like it was our own. That approach hasn't changed. If anything, it's become more central to who we are.

Our team is close-knit by design, and we believe in fairness. Through our Single Sector Area Promise, we work with only one business per sector in each area, so we never work with a client's direct competitor. When we're in a client's corner, we're fully in it.

We bring that same commitment to the people we hire. As an apprentice with us, you'll be right at the heart of delivering that success for our clients, doing real, varied work across strategy, social media, Google Ads, SEO, websites and content. And just as we invest in our clients, we'll invest in you, backing you to learn, grow and build a long-term career with us.

Company benefits

  • Free on-site parking
  • Perks Portal: 30,000+ offers and discounts
  • Brand-new Apple MacBook and iPhone
  • Stocked coffee machine and cold drinks fridge (requests always welcome!)
  • A relaxed, friendly team from day one

Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. Find out about potential future pay.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, our goal is to develop you into a fully fledged Digital Marketing Executive, taking ownership of client accounts and running multi-channel campaigns independently.

From there, the natural progression is towards a senior executive or account management role, coordinating larger campaigns and mentoring newer team members, and in time towards a strategic or managerial position as the agency grows. For the right person, there's also the opportunity to progress onto further qualifications, such as the Level 4 Marketing Executive or Level 6 Communications Manager apprenticeship, to support that journey.

We're not looking for someone for the short term. We want to find the right person to invest in for the long term, and to support their continued growth and career development with us.
