St Barnabas CE Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an Early Years Apprentice to join our team.
Join our fantastic team of early years practitioners and will be responsible for the care of young children, ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children are always met.

What you will do in your working day:


Get help with your application

- Supporting or leading educational games and activities for children aged 2-4 years
- Preparing the learning environment with resources and displays
- Helping with trips and outings
- Feeding and changing children
- Observing and assessing children to help their learning
- Developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development
- To keep children safe and follow safeguarding policies
- To maintain a clean and safe environment
- Playing alongside children and engaging in quality interactions to develop communication and language
