The Role

Apprentice Multi-skilled Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the aim of the apprenticeship is to develop the knowledge, skills and behavioural competencies that will enable the Apprentice to maintain and repair all equipment in the relevant department. Each department has strict hygiene and safety rules in order to avoid contamination, so a crucial part of this role is being aware of and adhering to the restrictions.

The Apprentice will follow a clear development pathway aligned to both their Training Plan designed by the nominated Apprenticeship Training Provider and Karro will identify opportunities whereby skills learned within a training capacity can be safely practiced under supervision in the factory.

Regular 1-2-1 meetings at pre-determined intervals will take place with Engineering Manager to continue instilling confidence in learning and gauging feedback and setting any objectives required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
