Join S3 Entertainment at a busy BP Petrol Station, working within their Greggs food-to-go operation.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in food preparation, customer service and retail operations while developing skills in food safety, allergen awareness, stock control, till operation, equipment use and teamwork.
What you'll do at work
- Preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with Greggs procedures and food safety standards
- Following food hygiene, allergen, temperature control and safe food-handling procedures
- Operating ovens, food preparation equipment and other relevant equipment safely
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and customer areas
- Serving customers professionally and providing excellent customer service
- Operating the till and processing cash and card payments accurately
- Maintaining product availability, displays and presentation standards
- Checking product dates, stock rotation and food quality
- Monitoring food levels and supporting preparation to meet customer demand
- Following procedures for food storage, waste and stock control
- Supporting daily opening, closing and cleaning procedures
- Following health and safety, fire, security and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors and working as part of a busy team
- Supporting promotions and maintaining high standards of customer experience

- Scan control, monitor and rotate stock.
- Check and use tools and operate equipment and machinery.
- Clean tools, equipment or lines.
- Comply with food safety regulations and procedures.

- Comply with environmental and sustainability regulations and procedures. Identify and segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Identify and resolve issues. Report issues.
- Apply basic continuous improvement techniques.
- Apply fault-finding and problem-solving techniques to common problems.
- Collect and interpret information – text and data.
- Record information - paper based or electronic.
- Use information technology.
- Follow work instructions - verbal or written.

- GCSE in:
