Wage
£6,656 to £10,574.72, depending on your age
National Minimum Wage

£8.00 to £12.71 per hour depending on age and hours worked. Potential pay rise after successful probation sign-off, plus an annual loyalty bonus after 12 months of service.

Shifts will be a mixture of daytime and evenings across the week, including weekends. Exact shift patterns will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Meet and greet customers in a warm and friendly manner.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Provide table-service to customers in our restaurant, following company service procedures.
- Ensure allergy processes are followed in all stages of the service journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.

- Use professional methods of communication that are tailored to different situations, and individual and team needs.
- Manages own time and workload, prioritising tasks.
- Maintain and rotate stock according to life cycle and business processes.
- Ensure equipment and technology faults and maintenance issues are reported promptly.

You will complete the Hospitality Team Member Level 2 (Food & Beverage) apprenticeship with HIT Training.
Your apprenticeship includes regular one-to-one sessions with a dedicated trainer or coach, workplace learning, and online study.
You will develop skills in customer service, food and beverage service, communication, teamwork, and working effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
You will also receive on-the-job training in food hygiene, brand standards, equipment use, and health & safety procedures.
Functional Skills in English and Maths will be provided if required.
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
